The BEST Turkey Tacos!
Now I know it's not Cinco de Mayo but I was really craving some tacos tonight and absolutely needed to make them. When I sat down and began eating after cooking, I remembered just how good this recipe was and NEEDED to share. There really isn't much to it and I'm not going to sit here and write about how they are "authentic" or unbelievably "innovative," because they're not. They are probably the simplest tacos that one could ever make. But, they are a fan-favorite in my house and always hit the spot. Here's how you make them: Recipe Yields around 8-10 servings (great for leftovers): 2 lbs of ground turkey (preferably free range if you have access to it) 1 large yellow onion sliced 1 large red pepper sliced 2 cloves of garlic (crushed) 1 package of favorite taco seasoning ( I use this one ) 1/2 cup of frozen corn 1 package of flour tortillas (or jicama tortillas from Trader Joe's for a lighter substitute) Ground black pepper (to taste) To
